The Fibro
Australia Crest

A below budget house built from fibrocement, a cement combined with asbestos fibre and made into sheets for building with.

Ubiquitous to the Australian city suburbs in the 50s and 60s, the fibro is now a thing of the past following bans on its use through the health risk from asbestos.

Hardly likely that Kerry Packer has ever lived in a fibro.
