roducer of musical theatre and ardent Sydney Swans fan.
John went to Middle Park Central School where he had his first kiss, aged 7.
As a teenager he played under-19s for South Melbourne (now the Swans).
John produced his first show when 19 and over the last 30 years has appeared in shows such as Oklahoma!, The Glums, (Les Miserables), High Society and Sweet Charity. He has also appeared in a non-musical Dead White Males by David Williamson.
John can often be seen cycling around Centennial Park in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
He enjoys the odd Victoria Bitter or two in the company of wife Jo-anne or friends, who call him JD or Deetch.
Currently he is wowing Sydney audiences in Chicago.
Perhaps if he makes a lot of money from his enormous talent he could simply have his surname as his epitaph on his tombstone.
