Elle Macpherson
Australia Crest

Super-model and hamburger chain mogul, born in Sydney on March 29th, 1963.

'The Body' has had covers on Vogue and Sports Illustrated during her successful modelling career. She has also opened a lingerie business and partnered some other super-models in a trendy hamburger chain.

Elle featured in the film Sirens about the life of Norman Lindsay and she also appeared in Jane Eyre.

Her son Arpad Flynn, fathered by Arpad 'Arki' Busson, was born on February 14th, 1998. The Flynn name apparently came from Elle's admiration of Errol Flynn.

In September '98 when it was reported that she was worth $57 million, she said "I think they made a mistake with the decimal point".

Elle's dad, Cronulla Sharks millionaire CEO Peter Gow, is in hot water - again! Last year he was found guilty in court of headbutting a Sydney City fan. This year he assaulted a St George Illawarra fan, and Cronulla won! Won't be long until he gets through the whole league. Possibly he's jealous of Elle getting all the headlines.

Peter got the flick! The fan he allegedly assaulted was former St. George and Australia player Barry Beath. Beath later said "It's lucky someone restrained me because I might have killed the p...k."
