Weet-Bix
Australia Crest

Aussie kids are Weet-Bix kids - these words, and the music to them, were written by an Irishman now living in Magnetic Island, Queensland. His name is Pat Aulten and his jingle has been sung so many million times it would be the biggest seller ever if extended to become a song.

Weet-Bix is one of many quality foods made by Sanitarium, the health food company, and is considered Australia's favourite whole wheat malted biscuit breakfast.

9 out of 10 nutritionists recommend your kids eat Weet-Bix. Why? -

The kids like it.
You like it.
It's high in fibre.
It has the goodness of wholegrain wheat.
It's high in iron.
It's low in sugar.
It's high in Vitamins - Folate, B1, B2, B3.
It's good value.
It's low in fat.
It's not yucky like some breakfast foods.

One kid said "What's a nutritionist?" - let him wash his Weet-Bix down with prune-juice.

Experts agree we should all include a regular source of Folate in our diet. Weet-Bix helps us meet our body's requirements.

But most of all why we should eat it - it's proudly Australian!
