Delltones

Formed in 1959 in Bronte, Sydney, by Pee Wee Wilson and Noel Widerberg with Brian Perkins and Warren Lucas.

The Delltones' first national hit was You're The Limit in 1960.

Other hits to follow were Wonder in 1961, Get A Little Dirt On Your Hands in 1962, Come A Little Bit Closer in 1963, Hangin' Five in 1963 and Hey Girl Don't Bother Me in 1964.

The Delltones were a TV regular on Bandstand with Brian Henderson.

The band broke up in 1971.

Ian Wilson was born in Sydney on 25th February, 1940. He is noted for his deep voice in hit songs such as Get A Job and Come A Little Bit Closer.

In 1981 Wilson reformed the group with himself being the only original member.
