Charts topping singer born in England and coming to Australia aged 10 with his family.

Had his first hit with Sadie The Cleaning Lady.

John joined Little River Band replacing Glenn Shorrock as lead singer in 1981.

He was named the 1987 Australian of the Year.

In 1998 he toured with Anthony Warlow and Olivia Newton-John on the Main Event tour. Prior to that he had toured with Jimmy Barnes in Barnsey and Farnesy.John Farnham - The Main Event

Currently he is preparing to tour with his Can't Believe He's 50 tour. The Nana-Zhami group, which includes his son, will tour with John. Also on board will be Human Nature, Kate Ceberano, James Reyne, Merril Bainbridge and Ross Wilson. The tour has Toyota as a sponsor.

Uncovered and You're The Voice have been big hits for Farnham.

John likes nothing more than to go fishing with his sons or horseriding with his wife Jilly.

Farnham denies his cleancut image and reckons he gets on the drink occasionally and he can swear with the best of them.

John is managed by Glenn Wheatley.
