Tim Draxl
Australia Crest

Cabaret singer from Jindabyne, in the Snowy Mountains, who has made a name for himself in New York, following in the wake of Jimmy Barnes ' son David Campbell. Tim was 'discovered' when he attended one of Campbell's talent workshops.

Tim DraxlTim was born on October 8th, 1981, a typical Libran, and currently lives in Sydney, whilst establishing his career.

Tim is not too concerned about his HSC - he has his sights set on Hollywood and the silver screen.

He considers himself a romantic and sentimental bloke. Touches of C. J. Dennis.

Tim's Austrian father, a former Olympic skier, is a ski instructor and Tim speaks fluent German besides being an ace skier. In fact he was junior Australian ski champion, aged 13. Tim's mother manages Perisher Blue ski resort. Tim has three elder brothers who gave him a hard time when he was younger. Now, they are showing him off to everyone - "Hey, meet my brother, the singer". Two of the brothers are professional skiers and the other is a professional horseman.

Other hobbies include tennis and painting - he says his art is his therapy, his relaxation. Tim is also a great believer in reincarnation.

Tim has been signed by Sony Music.

Tim was voted ' Voice of 99' by Vogue magazine.

At the release of his CD Ordinary Miracles at Sydney's Inter-Continental Hotel in April 99 were Campbell, Sony executives GM John Sackson and CEO Denis Handlin, together with big fan Alan Jones.
