Stuart MacGill
Australia Crest

He is 27 year old leg-spin bowler who destroyed England in the 5th Ashes Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground early January, 1999, taking 5 wickets in the first innings and 7-50 from 20.1 overs in the second. A star is born!

Although from Perth, Stuart felt at home at the S.C.G. as that acronym is his initials - Stuart Charles Glyndwr.

Brought up in Perth, where his father Terry played cricket for W.A., Stuart moved to Sydney to play grade, progressing through the State team to the Test team against South Africa in January, 1998 in Adelaide. Cricket is certainly in his blood as his grandfather once dismissed Don Bradman.

Stuart went to the Australian Cricket Academy in Adelaide and lived at the home of then South Australia coach, Peter Philpott, to whom he owes much of his information on the skills he has attained.

Mr. Nice Guy Stuart lives in Leichhardt and enjoys cooking Thai and Italian food. He enjoys his wine and likes Henschke and a Barossa called Rockford.

Girls, he does not have a steady girlfriend, at this stage, so move it!
