SPORTING Oz Rowing

Oarsome Foursome
Australia Crest

Champion Olympic coxless four rowing team.

The original foursome were Nick Green, James Tomkins, Mike McKay and Sam Patten. Patten was replaced by Andrew Cooper in 1991-92 and he in turn by Drew Ginn from 1995.

Achievements include Olympic gold at Barcelona in 1992 and again at Atlanta in1996, 1990 and 1991 world champions and 1998 coxed fours world champions.

Managed by Rob Woodhouse of Elite Sports Properties, the Foursome can be seen singing the praises of Goulburn Valley tinned fruits on television. They were certainly not picked from the singing talent they displayed at the Olympic Games whilst singing the national anthem, after winning gold, but more than likely on their winning smiles.
